How Assets Bulletin uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you control them.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage. They let the Service remember your session, preferences, and consent choices.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — authentication/session tokens, security, load balancing, and your cookie-consent record itself. These are required for the Service to function and are always active.
- Functional — remember interface preferences (e.g., dashboard layout choices). Set only with your consent where required.
- Analytics — aggregated, privacy-respecting usage measurement that helps us improve the publication. Set only with your consent where required.
- Advertising measurement — we use the Google tag (gtag.js, Google Ads conversion tracking) solely to measure whether our own advertising campaigns lead to visits and signups. We do not use it for remarketing or to build cross-site behavioural profiles, and we do not sell personal data.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; note that blocking strictly-necessary storage will break sign-in.
5. Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
Beyond the categories above, our only third-party tag is Google Ads conversion measurement, used to evaluate our own campaigns. We do not respond to browser DNT/GPC signals in additional ways because we do not sell personal data or engage in cross-context behavioural advertising; you can opt out of the optional categories via the cookie banner at any time.
